What makes it different
The candle holder isn't handed to you — you make it. Each guest picks a vessel design, mixes her colors, casts it, and unmolds it . Then she chooses a scent and pours the candle into her own piece. No two come out the same.
Why it works for a girls' night
No reservation to keep, no bar to shout over, nobody watching the clock for the babysitter. The table is the whole evening. No one needs to be crafty — if someone would rather watch and chat, she'll still leave with a candle. We set up 30 minutes early, run about 1.5 to 2 hours, and clean up. Wine and takeout welcome.

Set & Melt is a fully guided, mobile candle-making workshop in Orlando. We bring everything; you bring the group.

What you'll need
A table and seating for your guests, plus a bit of counter or floor space for setup. That's it.
We arrive 30 minutes early, so your group can walk in and start creating.

Clear a table near an outlet. That's it.
Can everyone pick a different scent and color?
Yes. Most groups do.
How much space do we need?
A dining table that seats your group. Apartments work fine.
Can we do a weeknight?
Yes, weeknights are easier to book than weekends.

Vase feels so high quality that's hard to believe you made it yourself! I went with a blend of peach and coconut scents that is subtle and I looooove how it smells! The corgis approved too!
Everything was amazing; it was such a fun and interesting experience. I didn't know I could create a candle from scratch — I even made the mold! When it came to choosing the scent, I was really undecided because they have such wonderful fragrances, but the staff was so attentive and helped me every step of the way.
