What makes it different
Nobody pours wax into a jar we hand them. Each guest picks a vessel design, mixes her own colors, casts it, and unmolds it. Then she blends a scent and pours the candle into the piece she just made.

Why it works for a bachelorette
The group is usually a mix of people who don't all know each other yet. Making something side by side gives everyone a reason to talk that isn't small talk.
You don't need a kitchen or supplies, just a table. We set up 30 minutes early, run it for about 1.5 to 2 hours, and clean up, so the maid of honor doesn't spend the afternoon working. Drinks are fine.

Set & Melt is a fully guided, mobile candle-making workshop in Orlando. We bring everything; you bring the group.
$55 per guest · minimum of 4

What you'll need
A table and seating for your guests, plus a bit of counter or floor space for setup. That's it.
We arrive 30 minutes early, so your group can walk in and start creating.

Can we drink during the workshop?
Yes, most groups do. Keep glasses off the work table and we handle the rest.
Does it work at an Airbnb?
That's where most of ours happen. We need a table, an outlet, and someone to let us in 30 minutes early.
Can you do something special for the bride?
She picks first, and if the group wants a shared wedding scent or her colors as a theme, we'll guide it. Tell us if it's a surprise.
What if we have more than 12 people?
Send us the headcount. Sometimes it's two sessions back to back; we'll tell you what works.
What if we're late getting back from brunch?
Give us a heads up and we adjust.

Everything was amazing; it was such a fun and interesting experience. I didn't know I could create a candle from scratch — I even made the mold! When it came to choosing the scent, I was really undecided because they have such wonderful fragrances, but the staff was so attentive and helped me every step of the way. I felt like a professional artist when I saw my finished candle.
