Private Candle Workshop FAQs | Orlando Events

Looking for answers about private candle-making workshops in Orlando? Here you’ll find details about pricing, booking, customization, and how the experience works.

🕯️ THE EXPERIENCE

What is Set & Melt?

Set & Melt offers private candle-making workshops in Orlando where guests create their own vessel, blend fragrance, and pour a custom candle.

What do we make during the workshop?

During the experience, each guest creates
a custom handmade candle vessel and pours their own handmade candle. The result is a unique candle designed to look beautiful in any space and serve as a reminder of the moment you created.

Which areas do you cover for private candle workshops in Orlando?

We host private candle workshops across Orlando and surrounding areas, including Oviedo, Winter Park, Baldwin Park, Winter Garden, Lake Nona and Kissimmee. If you're nearby and unsure whether we travel to you, send us your address and we'll confirm.

What makes this different from other candle workshops?

Guests don't just pour wax. You create your own vessel first — choosing the shape and the color — before blending your scent and pouring your candle. It's fully hands-on from start to finish.

What’s included in the experience?

We bring the materials, tools, setup, and clean-up.

Everything for your vessel, natural soy wax, curated fragrance options, and everything needed for each guest to create their own vessel and pour their own candle. You provide a table and seating for your guests.

What do I need to provide?

A table and seating for your guests, plus access to the space. We bring all materials, tools, and setup, and arrive 30 minutes early so your group can walk in and start creating.

How long does a private candle workshop in Orlando last?

The workshop runs about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group's pace. We arrive early to set up.

Where do you host the experience?

We bring the candle night to your home, hotel or chosen venue in the Orlando area. All you need is table space and your guests.

Do I need candle-making experience?

Not at all. We guide you step-by-step from shaping your vessel to blending scents and pouring your candle.

It’s fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly.

What do guests take home?

Every guest leaves with a finished candle inside a vessel they made entirely from scratch — ready to display or gift.

🎨 CUSTOMIZATION

Can I choose any color?

You can mix from our curated color palette to create your own shade.

Can I mix scents?

Yes. You can blend fragrances to create something uniquely yours.

Are the vessels reusable?

Yes. Once the candle finishes, you can refill or repurpose your vessel.

What will my vessel feel like?

Solid and matte, with a finish closer to a boutique piece than a craft project. Sturdy enough to live on a shelf for years, and every one comes out a little different depending on how you mix your color.

Are all vessels handmade?

Yes. Every vessel is made by hand, by the guest who takes it home.

We use high-quality natural soy wax.

Are the fragrances safe?

Yes. Our fragrance oils are carefully selected and tested.
